Thank yall so much. I was so distressed and feeling selfish because my collegue has to go on bedrest for her pregnancy. I really didn't want to pick up her shifts. I already work more hours than I want to and am on the verge of burning out. Fortunately they texted me the info and did not come out and ask me, so I had time to prepare a preemptive "NO", and this video helped me feel much better about it.

I too have been through psychological Abuse… to the point I thought I was going mad. Loneliness after two failed marriages and one long term relationship I’m sitting here wondering why I can’t find a partner who loves me to pieces. I am fully lovable but I choose those who are unavailable like my mother. I acknowledge this is part of the reason it’s like revisiting childhood all over again. It makes me sad though but also I started to feel a call To reach to something bigger then myself so I won’t feel Lonely anymore❤

I have a 40 hour job at 69 years old and a Life Group once a week that I attend . My job is my mission field .

I think as Seniors our loneliness is very different from younger people also divorced Seniors. I think some of us choose to be alone maybe it doesn’t help that the church doesn’t have a place for Seniors and divorced. I’m 69 years old work full time and my job is my mission field. Weekends I choose solitude to recalibrate for the coming week.

My husband and I made a decision. We lived on one income, homeschooled our children and I was a stay at home mother. Yes, I am educated but we choose to put our family/children first. Now they are Adults fulfilling God's purpose in their own lives. We are very proud of them. I am recently employed doing what I love...❤❤❤❤

People need to think before they have kids . You should never bring a child into this world if your not going to take care of it that goes for both parties.

What’s worse is when you’re lonely and reach out to the church and no one shows up. Please believe this is not putting down the church but seriously their are desperate people wanting a friend and have reached out to so many Christian’s organizations and.. nothing.. wow.. who cares.. Jesus does I know for sure but sometimes after losing your husband and have no friends.. maybe just maybe you could use a hug from “! Someone with skin on”.
